Australind Artisan Collective

301 Old Coast Road, Australind WA 6233

Australind Artisan Collective is located in the beautiful Heritage Listed Henton Cottage in the grounds of the Australind Shopping Centre.

Henton Cottage was formerly known as the “Prince of Wales Hotel” where travellers along the Coast Road could rest from their journey and was built for William Dacres Williams in 1841. It was later purchased by John Allnutt who renamed the property “Henton”, and together with his wife Sarah, established a home and merchant business. He lived in the cottage until his death in 1851. Various families owned the property between 1851 and 1976 when Phil and Holly Nutley restored the cottage to its original condition.

Henton Cottage is now home to Australind Artisan Collective. Our aim is support local home based businesses by stocking their quality made gifts and wares ranging from beautiful prints and painting, woodwork, fabric items plus local honey, jams and chutneys.

We also have items for the international tourist to take home as a memento of their travels through the South West.

Make sure you drop in and have a look at the beautiful cottage as well as browse through our rooms. You never know you may find the perfect gift for someone or just a treat for yourself.
