    Our third edition of FOUND magazine. Autumn and winter in the BunGeo region mean it’s time to change gear – literally. Out with bikinis and shorts and on with rugged up jumpers and socks. If you’re a keen mountain biker, then you’ll find some of the most accessible MTB trails in the land. Unearth the stunning new edifice at Koombana Bay; called Wardandi Booja. And then there are the passionate winemakers and food producers – meet the men and women behind award-winning Geographe wines and the Halls family who have created a divine creamy cheese from their herd of Normande cows. There are farmers who follow the organic path, and an artisan bakery which produces the most perfect bread and butter (it’s to die-for). The newly redeveloped Dolphin Discovery Centre is the perfect place to meet and greet some very friendly residents of Koombana Bay. Happy reading!

    Geographe Alternative Wine Trail

    In association with the Geographe Wine Industry Association we are proud to launch WA’s first Alternative Wine Trail. Find some cutting-edge wines, with nine must–do cellar doors where you can sip and swirl more than twelve alternative varieties. Our winemakers will be on-hand to share their knowledge with you on all things alternative.

    The self-drive Geographe Alternative Wine Trail meanders through coastal plains, picturesque valleys and up, into the hills providing sweeping views over the distant Geographe Bay and Bunbury.

    BUNBURY CBD MURAL TRAIL

    Bunbury City centre is full of amazing places and stories. Since 2014, through the Six Two Three Zero initiative, the City has been transformed into an open air art gallery. Six Two Three Zero is a Bunbury based artist run initiative seeking to use street art as a catalyst for urban development and social change. This initiative has transformed a walk through the City into an incredible  journey of discovery.  There are plenty of places to stop for a coffee, lunch or afternoon tea.     The streets of Bunbury’s CBD are filled with history and mystery, with stories and facts to delight and fascinate visitors. From a school attended by former WA Premier Sir Newton Moore, the family home of Western Australia’s most famous pioneering family, impressive buildings built by a convict’s son, 80s inspired Alan Bond architecture, to sacred sites of our Noongar first settlers. Walking is truly the best way to explore the stomping grounds of our past residents.
